Sinead O'Connor to give marriage another go

Over 40 singles using online dating sites to find their perfect match may be interested to hear that despite the announcement that she and her husband had split after 16 days of marriage, Sinaead O'Connor has now called off her divorce.

The Irish singer best known for her song Nothing Compares 2 U married therapist Brian Herridge in a sudden Las Vegas ceremony in December, but shortly before the new year she told of how it was not working out.

Writing on her blog, O'Connor told of how things turned sour soon after the nuptials when she went on a rampage around the US city looking for drugs. Herridge, as a drugs therapist, was reportedly highly disapproving.

However, latest statements have suggested that the couple will get back together and take things a little slower this time, will act as boyfriend and girlfriend before moving in together at a later date.

O'Connor's short-lived marriage isn't the first to go under so soon after the wedding day. Last year, Kim Kardashian announced she was splitting from husband Kris Humphries after just 72 days as husband and wife.
