Poll shows '10% of workers sleep with their boss' at work parties

Posted on: December 17, 2009 11:44:30

Office Christmas parties are that one time of year when workers can let themselves go and really have fun away from their partner, although as the results of one survey show, some can go too far.

Research carried out by discovered that 14 per cent of people have kissed their boss at a festive bash, while 10 per cent have slept with them.

It seems as though the cause of these misdemeanours for many people may have been too much alcohol, as 70 per cent of respondents confessed that they have drunk an inappropriate amount at the party.

Social Etiquette doyenne June Dally-Watkins said:"It would be a bad mark against them. The boss and the people who work with them will always remember that they were drunk and disorderly."

If people want to avoid an intimate encounter with their boss at their Christmas party, then they could look for the perfect partner on an online dating website.ADNFCR-2828-ID-19517817-ADNFCR
