Online dating websites are great because they "take the hassle out of meeting people", it has been claimed.

Writing for the Tucson Citizen, B Poole has described his venture into the world of cyber dating and why he thinks it is a good place to find love.

He said that the sites know which questions to ask to ensure that everything "plays out just right" between people when they meet.

Mr Poole also offered some advice for novices, pointing out that it is important to be honest as potential love matches will always find out the truth when they meet someone in person.

"While league bowling might well be considered a sport, your beer gut does not constitute an athletic build. And don't say you are adventurous if you aren't," he said.
