Online dating 'could be the future'

Posted on: December 2, 2009 17:02:38

In the future, online dating will be considered the only way to meet new people, it has been suggested.

The Eyeopener Online draws attention to a Wired magazine article written by Rufus Griscom, which predicted that "20 years from now, the idea that someone looking for love without looking for it online will be silly".

According to the news provider, one person who seems to agree with this is student Kitty Wong, who was finding that her busy studying schedule made it difficult to meet a new partner.

"There is so much accessibility in using a dating site. It's easier than meeting people in public places," she explained.

Another person who seems to agree with this sentiment is 56-year-old divorcee Jerry Reiser.

He recently explained to Press of Atlantic City that after two failed marriages, he decided to join an online dating site and found the woman of his dreams in Debbie Kuzma.ADNFCR-2828-ID-19491867-ADNFCR
