Male sex toys 'are becoming more popular'

Adult singles looking to spice up their love life using online dating sites may be pleased to hear that new research has revealed men are becoming fonder of using sex toys.

Online adult retailer Temptations Direct has released its top ten bestsellers for December 2011 and found that men's toys are some of the most popular playthings, with popular options including the Soft Bondage Set and the Vibrating Oro Stimulator.

The sales figures showed that beneath the surface men are becoming keener about the use of sex toys, despite previous coyness about the products, which were often deemed "seedy".

Stephen Hackett, managing director of Venus Sales, which owns the company, said: "We've known for a long time that men enjoy using sex toys, the problem is getting them to admit to it."

According to lingerie and sex toy retailer Ann Summers, vibrators for couples and electronic male masturbators are among the bestselling products.
