I'm A Celebrity stars Joey Essex and Amy Willerton share a cuddle

Posted on: December 9, 2013 18:37:42

IThey may be out of the jungle but I'm A Celebrity contestants Joey Essex and Amy Willerton are still spending plenty of time together.

The pair were both voted out of ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! on Friday (December 6th) and the TOWIE star tweeted a photo of himself with the beauty queen next to a pool.

In the shot, Amy is seen in a skimpy bikini, while Joey is topless and wearing red shorts relaxing in front of some plants on a sun lounger at the Versace hotel. He posted the snap with the caption: "Chilling by the pool. Versace Versace Versace @amywillerton."

However, this wasn't the only picture that Joey decided to share with his 2.3 million Twitter followers. After the two youngest campmates were voted off in the shock eviction, he posted a photo of himself and Amy tucking into a feast of pizza, chips and plenty of other food.

Alongside the image he posted: "Room service on first night #foodglourousfood."

It has not been said how his ex-fiancee Sam Faiers feels about how close the pair have got while in the jungle. Although the TOWIE stars aren't currently together, Sam hasn't been coy about her feelings for Joey and even his dad believes the pair will reconcile their differences and make another go of their relationship.

However, it's unknown whether or not Joey's closeness with Amy in the Jungle has caused any friction between the two ex-lovers.

Speaking to The Sun, Joey explained that his feelings towards the beauty pageant contestant was more than just about physical attraction.

He said: "I got to know her and I realised she's actually a proper nice girl. To me, looks don't mean anything. I've always loved personality in a girl.

There was sexual tension but we couldn't do anything because there isn't any privacy in there. There are 12 people, cameras and millions of people watching."

He also added that things could change now they have left the show and are away from the cameras.
