Fearne Cotton gets engaged on birthday

One star who may soon be out of the celebrity dating scene is Fearne Cotton after reports suggest she is getting married.

The 29-year-old's boyfriend Jesse Jenkins is believed to have proposed to the Radio One DJ during birthday celebrations on Friday (September 3rd).

The couple decided to give elite dating another chance after previously splitting up in 2009 and so reunited six months ago.

Commenting on the proposal, a source told the News of the World: "Jesse surprised her and Fearne was completely blown away. But she didn't hesitate in saying yes. She knows this is the real thing."

Skateboarder Jenkins first met his future bride in 2006 and the pair were together for two years.

Cotton has previously dated a sting of celebrities including Lost Prophets band member Ian Watkins, T4 presenter Steve Jones and Fame Academy competitor Peter Brame.

Her close friend Holly Willoughby tied the knot in 2007 and had her first child Harry last year.
