Does ring suggest elite dating is going well for Peaches Geldof?

Peaches Geldof gave what appeared to be an obvious sign this week that elite dating is going well for her and Eli Roth.

The daughter of Sir Bob Geldof and the film director recently celebrated their six-month anniversary and she has set tongues wagging about the state of the relationship.

During a dinner date at the Ivy in London, Peaches could clearly be seen sporting a sparkling ring on her wedding finger, leading to speculation that the pair may be engaged.

Although a representative stated the duo are "100 per cent not engaged", she seems happy to show the jewellery off.

The socialite chose a pair of black lacy shorts, a sheer white blouse and a furry grey coat accessorised with a black bowler hat for the occasion.

If wealthy dating continues to go well for the pair and they do marry, it will not be Peaches' first union, as she was previously wed to US musician Max Drummey.

Earlier this year, she denied rumours that she was planning to tie the knot with Eli in a rooftop ceremony at the beginning of 2011.
