Are Katy Perry and Russell Brand on the verge of splitting?

UK singles using online dating sites to find love may be interested to know that things between Russell Brand and his wife Katy Perry are not looking too good.

The pair, who were married just over a year ago in a private ceremony in India, were spotted on the beach over the Christmas period - only Brand was in Cornwall and his other half was in Miami.

Being more than 7,000 miles apart for the holidays has encouraged further rumours that Brand and Perry's relationship is on the rocks.

Further adding to the whispers, Brand, 36, was later seen out without wearing his wedding ring on his finger.

Rumours suggest that the couple had a row just before the days of celebration and decided to spend the time apart with their own friends.

Brand and Perry recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary by going on a private bike ride around New York City.
